Job description
As an IT Support Technician, you will provide remote and onsite technical support to our clients, resolving a wide range of IT issues while delivering excellent customer service. You will work closely with other technicians and seniors to support and maintain client environments across Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, cloud services, and security solutions., * Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and user-related issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Monitor and maintain client systems using Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers where required.
- Document support tickets, solutions, and technical procedures accurately.
- Assist with IT projects, migrations, and new client onboarding.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout the support process.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, This role is ideal for someone with at least 1-3 years of experience in an IT support position, preferably within an MSP environment., * Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in an IT Support Technician, Service Desk Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with Active Directory and user administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving license
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Experience using MSP tools, including:
- RMM
- Document and password management
- PSA
- Security Tools
- M365 Protection and Backup
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID.
- Experience with cybersecurity solutions such as EDR, MDR, email security, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Relevant IT certifications such as:
- Microsoft Fundamentals
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
