Design) Engineer

You are responsible for a wide range of (primary and secondary) engineering tasks. As a Senior Engineer, you are familiar with the high-voltage installations common in the industry-ranging from 110 kV to 380 kV-as well as the relevant standards and regulations.

What else will you do?

• Coordinate and motivate engineers, ensuring tasks are distributed effectively.
• Prepare system documentation, as well as functional and technical specifications. You will produce proposals, reports, schedules, work descriptions, tender specifications, and operational overviews.
• Oversee quality assurance, identify bottlenecks, and initiate improvements.
• Monitor budgets and review/analyze post-project cost calculations.
• Oversee the progress and quality of engineering work outsourced to contracted parties.

Within the project team, you collaborate closely with your engineering team, the project manager, contract manager, lead site supervisor, work preparers, commissioning engineer, and purchaser.

Project sizes vary; at times you may work on a single large project, while at other times you might handle multiple projects simultaneously. Needless to say, the role is dynamic.

As a Senior (Design) Engineer with our client, you are involved in the design of high-voltage substations from start to finish-spanning the preparatory phase through to realization. You bear technical responsibility for the engineering of challenging high-voltage projects. Depending on the project’s scale, you will either lead a team of engineers or independently handle the engineering work yourself., A completed Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s (WO) degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in the technical supervision of projects.
• Demonstrable, recent work experience with grid operators and/or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

Arbeidsvoorwaardenpakket

• Bruto maandsalaris: tot ongeveer max. € 7.500,-, afhankelijk van jouw kennis en ervaring.
