IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing workstation/PC hardware installation, configuration and maintenance; supporting user applications and troubleshooting; executes touch labor tasks; and other duties as assigned all while ensuring successful performance and compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS), Program, USG, and international requirements and guidelines. Ensures compliance with standard management practices including but not limited to monitoring, records keeping, report preparation, training, inspections, data reporting, etc. Will perform other duties as assigned

The IT Support Technician will be available for on-call support as needed 24 hours/day, 7 days/week in this role., + Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. • Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to job.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years experience in a Microsoft operating environment with field experience in personal computer (PC) hardware installation, configuration and maintenance certifications: IAT-1: Security + or GSEC or SCNP or SSCP (IT Support Technician must meet requirements outlined in the DOD 8570.1M directive matrix IAT-1)
• CSWF Basic per DoD 8140.03 directive matrix
• Must be certified Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), and Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE).
• Must be certified as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician (MCDST), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
• Must have experience in Windows / Office support
• Experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce
• Must be familiar with current global, US, Program and PWS requirements
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US passport and driver’s license throughout employment in this role
• Ability to successfully pass PACOM medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment
• Comptia Network+ or EC Councile Cisco CCNA Certfication
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance, + Able to stand for long periods of time such as eight (8) to ten (10) hours, bend, kneel, and reach to store/retrieve supplies
• Able to lift, carry, and push supplies and boxes up to 50 pounds
• Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
• May work in a typical office environment
