C Sharp (Programming Language) Performance Tuning Backend Git Software Version Control

Job description

We’re building a fast-paced, player-vs-player game with a clean low-poly art style, and we’re looking for an experienced Unity developer to help take it from prototype to polished, shippable product. You’ll own core gameplay and multiplayer systems, work closely with our design and art team, and have real influence over how the game plays and feels. If you love tight gameplay loops, responsive controls, and the challenge of building solid real-time PvP, we’d like to talk.

What you’ll do

  • Build and refine core gameplay mechanics, combat, and player controls in Unity (C#)
  • Design and implement multiplayer/networking systems for real-time PvP (matchmaking, state sync, lag compensation)
  • Optimize performance across target platforms to keep gameplay smooth and low-latency
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to integrate low-poly assets, animations, and effects
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-structured code and contribute to architecture decisions
  • Help diagnose and fix bugs, and improve stability as we scale toward launch

Requirements

Do you have experience in Unity?, * 3+ years of professional Unity development experience with strong C# skills

  • Shipped at least one game or interactive product (PvP or multiplayer experience strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with a networking solution such as Netcode for GameObjects, Photon, Mirror, or similar
  • Solid understanding of game architecture, state management, and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
  • Self-directed, communicative, and comfortable owning systems end to end

Nice to have

  • Experience with client-side prediction and server reconciliation
  • Knowledge of dedicated server hosting or backend services for games
  • Shader work or experience with stylized/low-poly rendering
  • Background in competitive or fast-action multiplayer titles

About the company

Send your resume along with a portfolio, GitHub, or links to games you’ve shipped. If you’ve worked on multiplayer or PvP projects, tell us what you built and what you owned.
