Data Designer

This is a genuinely unique opportunity for someone who loves transforming complex data into compelling visual stories. You’ll work closely with strategists, analysts and senior stakeholders, creating high-impact visualisations that influence decision-making at board level.

This is not a dashboard or reporting role.

We’re looking for someone with strong editorial judgement who can interrogate data, identify the narrative, and communicate insights through beautifully crafted static and motion-based visuals. Responsibilities

• Transform complex datasets into engaging visual stories
• Create presentation-ready charts, reports and graphics for senior audiences
• Produce short-form animated visualisations and motion graphics
• Collaborate with strategy, insight and client teams
• Challenge assumptions and ensure data supports the narrative
• Develop scalable visualisation standards and design systems
• Utilise AI tools to improve research, analysis and creative workflows

• 8+ years’ experience in Data Visualisation, Information Design or Visual Journalism
• Strong portfolio showcasing data-led storytelling
• Experience working with and interpreting datasets independently
• Advanced PowerPoint and/or Keynote skills
• Proficiency in Figma, Illustrator or similar design tools
• Motion design experience using After Effects or equivalent
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience utilising AI tools within design or analysis workflows
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desirable Experience

• Luxury, fashion, culture or premium brand exposure
• Agency, consultancy or editorial environment
• Marketing analytics, audience insights or cultural research experience
