Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer to join our team specializing in Systems and Data Execution for our CBU - Components Business Unit in Huddersfield, United Kingdom . During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026 . The requirements are for the successful candidate to be on-site 3 days per week. It is important that you can relocate on your own behalf, or be within a commutable distance to site.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supporting/using the CCIMS (Customer Care Information Management System) application
  • Compiling SQL queries using databricks
  • Helping develop CCIMS next generation application and Process improvement projects
  • Gaining an appreciation of service function/spend time in the CBU Service Lab in Huddersfield
  • Supporting project in the Data Analytics & Data Science functions

Requirements

  • We are looking applicants studying towards a degree in the following areas or similar: Data Science, Technology, Maths, Business or Project Management
  • An interest in Data Science and Data Analytics.
  • Good understanding of databases and their structures.
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team with experience contributing to or leading projects.
