Job description

  • Design and deliver data analytics and visualisation solutions alongside senior technical leads and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Integrate data analytics best practices into client processes and decision-making workflows.

  • Build self-service dashboards, reports and analytics solutions that drive clear, actionable insight.

  • Clean, merge and transform data from multiple sources to support robust analysis.

  • Apply statistical techniques and visualisation methods.

  • Deliver projects end-to-end including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, training and client handover.

  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team capability development and thought leadership.

  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across varying seniority levels.

Requirements

You will need skills in PowerBI, SQL, Python, DAX or Power Query and feel comfortable working in agile environments, communicating insight to both technical and non-technical audiences., * Professional experience in a data analytics, reporting or BI role within a secure government environment.

  • Strong experience with data visualisation tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI (Tableau, Qlik or Looker also considered).

  • Hands-on experience with data transformation and modelling using SQL, Python, DAX, Power Query or similar.

  • Experience owning or contributing to end-to-end analytics solutions including documentation and handover.

  • Confidence working in agile delivery environments.

  • Consultative mindset with the ability to articulate the value of analytics services and outcomes to clients.

  • Experience implementing or supporting cloud-native solutions is desirable.

  • Experience working with a broad range of data types including operational, security, network.
