IT Systems Administrator

This is not an entry-level IT or help-desk position. We are looking for an IT professional with 3-5 years of meaningful corporate technology experience who can independently troubleshoot issues, execute technical projects, administer systems, and work collaboratively with others responsible for LifeTree’s technology environment.

The successful candidate will understand that implementing technology is about more than configuring systems. Technology changes affect employees, workflows, customers, security, and day-to-day business operations. We are looking for someone who approaches technical work with that broader perspective., Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administration

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 Business/Enterprise environments, including: *

• Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Microsoft Purview
• Exchange Online
• SharePoint Online
• Teams
• Support identity and access management, MFA, permissions, security groups, and device policies
• Assist with Microsoft 365 migrations, configuration changes, and ongoing administration
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding from a technology and access-management perspective
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, authentication, permissions, and endpoint-related issues

Infrastructure & Systems

• Support implementation and administration of on-premises servers, storage, networking, and related infrastructure
• Assist with the development and maintenance of centralized file-storage environments.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain backup and recovery systems using Veeam or similar technologies
• Perform server and infrastructure maintenance, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Assist with hardware installation, configuration, replacement, and lifecycle management
• Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, configurations, systems, and procedures

Endpoint & Device Management

• Configure and deploy Windows computers using standardized provisioning and imaging processes
• Administer endpoints through Microsoft Intune and related Microsoft technologies
• Manage device policies, software deployment, Windows updates, security configurations, and endpoint standards
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, connectivity, and related employee technology issues
• Help maintain hardware and software inventories and equipment standards

Security, Data Protection & Backup

• Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity standards and controls
• Assist with access-control, endpoint-security, data-protection, and device-management initiatives
• Monitor backup processes and troubleshoot failed or incomplete backups
• Participate in backup restoration and disaster-recovery testing
• Help identify vulnerabilities, technology risks, and opportunities to strengthen the organization’s security posture
• Work within the data privacy and security expectations of a healthcare services organization

Qualifications/Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of professional IT experience, preferably within a corporate or multi-department business environment
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise environments

• Experience with several of the following: *

• Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory
• Microsoft Purview
• Exchange Online
• SharePoint
• Microsoft Teams
• Windows Server
• Veeam or similar backup platforms
• Experience configuring and supporting Windows laptops and desktops
• Experience with endpoint provisioning, imaging, deployment, and management
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and wireless networking
• Experience troubleshooting technology issues beyond scripted or basic help-desk support
• Experience documenting technical environments, configurations, procedures, and changes
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthcare, home health, behavioral health, or regulated service industries preferred
• Familiarity with HIPAA/security compliance environments
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
• Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, Veeam, or other relevant technical certifications are a plus
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud/on-premises technology environments
• Experience with server virtualization and storage technologies
• Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations or tenant configuration projects
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business-continuity technologies
• Familiarity with cybersecurity monitoring and endpoint-security tools

Work Environment: On-site only (no remote or hybrid options)

This is a highly interactive, hands-on IT position. You’ll spend your day working directly with employees, troubleshooting issues in real time, setting up equipment, training users, and helping team members navigate the technology and systems they rely on every day.
