Job description

Collaborate with manual testers, dev ops engineers and integration lead to identify automation candidates from each software drop
Design, develop and implement automation regression test suites that validate features end to end
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for quick feedback in the release cycles
Manage and produce clear automation dashboards, test reports and metrics for the assigned Test program(s), including # of scripts executed, pass/fail reports
Troubleshoot valid test failures, automation false negatives to continuously improve the automation stability and coverage
Fully document any defects/unexpected anomalies identified during automation testing

Requirements

BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (at least 3 years) with IT and telecommunications hardware and software
At least 5 years automation test-related work experience
Experience in JavaScript and designing automation test code
Hands on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, or similar
Familiar with CI/CD pipeline (GitLab, Jenkins….)
Understanding of containerization, virtualization such as Kubernetes
Experience with bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA (preferred)) and Test Management Systems (e.g., JAMA)
Strong written and communication skills - ability to communicate progress/problems, test design with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks and projects,
Ability to work independently and with a team
Strong understanding in QA methodology, Agile/Scrum software development processes and project life cycles
