Job description
- Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for automotive ECUs.
- Design and develop software modules using Embedded C.
- Work closely with system, hardware, and validation teams to understand requirements and implement software solutions.
- Develop and debug low-level drivers and application software for microcontrollers.
- Work with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and UDS.
- Perform software debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Support ECU integration, testing, and validation activities.
- Analyze software defects and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support software integration testing.
- Work with debugging and development tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Lauterbach, JTAG, or similar tools.
- Follow automotive software development processes and quality standards.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Embedded C Engineer with 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in C programming, microcontrollers, automotive communication protocols, debugging, and ECU software development., * 3+ years of hands-on experience in Embedded C development.
- Strong knowledge of C programming, pointers, structures, memory management, and bit manipulation.
- Experience with microcontrollers/MCUs and embedded systems.
- Good understanding of CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and UDS.
- Experience with RTOS concepts such as tasks, scheduling, interrupts, semaphores, and inter-task communication.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic is preferred.
- Experience with debugging tools and hardware interfaces.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and debugging methodologies.
- Familiarity with MISRA-C coding standards.
- Experience working in an automotive development environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AUTOSAR BSW/RTE/Application Layer.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 / Functional Safety.
- Experience with ASPICE processes.
- Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
- Knowledge of bootloader, diagnostics, or ECU flashing.
- Experience with Git, Jira, Jenkins, or similar tools., Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field is preferred.
