Product Data Scientist

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join this client’s commerce org to support analytics and product initiatives focused on the payment’s side. This individual will leverage data to drive business insights, influence product decisions, and build scalable reporting solutions., Analyze large datasets to generate insights and recommendations for Tap to Pay product initiatives.

Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using SQL, Python, Tableau, and AI-assisted workflows.

Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to support data-driven decision making.

Continuously explore innovative ways to leverage AI tools to improve analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and Tableau for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.

Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude) to improve workflows, automate reporting, build dashboards, and drive productivity gains.

Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve complex business problems, and identify opportunities to use AI for operational optimization.

Prior experience within in financial services, with experience in either legacy banking or fintech environments is a nice to have.

Experience analyzing customer behavior, product performance, or payment-related datasets is highly preferred.

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations., Data science, python, SQL, tableau, Pyspark, stakeholder management

This is a Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $77.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
