You will play a crucial role in the lifecycle of engineering systems to include conception, design, development and operation through decommissioning.WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Engineer Level 3 must have: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university Experience: 10+ years of related experience Security clearance level: TS/SCI with poly US citizenship required Role requirements: Provide domain expertise throughout all software and process engineering phasesDevelop detailed design documents in the form of system Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), data-flow diagrams, and system/component-level design diagramsIntegrate engineering specialties into the systems development processDevelop and build metadata object and business logic models, provide data element dictionaries, create, document, and publish XML schemas, (ICDs, and Data Model Requirements)Provide system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidanceGDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
