Carbon Data and Emissions Analyst

BP Energy seeks a Carbon Optimizer to drive decarbonization across trading and supply operations. You will quantify and model BP’s carbon footprint, optimize portfolios for emissions and cost, and identify abatement opportunities in power, gas, and low carbon products. Partner with commercial, trading, and engineering teams to design and track low carbon roadmaps, support GHG reporting, and translate complex data into clear insights. • Optimize portfolios for emissions and cost, identifying decarbonization and abatement opportunities
• Develop and track low carbon roadmaps with commercial, trading, and engineering teams
• Support GHG inventory, reporting, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Build dashboards and tools to visualize emissions and performance against targets
• Evaluate and compare low carbon and renewable solutions for feasibility and impact
• Prepare presentations and insights for leadership on carbon performance and strategy
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to embed carbon optimization into decision making
• Monitor policy, market, and technology trends in carbon and energy transition
• Contribute to continuous improvement of carbon data quality, methodologies, and controls
