Job description
They’re looking for Software Engineers who have been immersed in Agentic Engineering’; using AI coding tools as a fundamental tenet of your day-to day.
The Software Engineer won’t just write code. You’ll explore how AI can improve the entire SDLC, whilst driving AI Adoption internally + ensuring quality output!
Ultimately you will think about what tools to use, help teams adopt best practices and see if other teams can benefit too!
Looking at AI-coding zero to 1. Think research, planning, building, implementing, coaching and working cross functionally!
What You’ll Be Doing
1) Software Engineering
2) Problem solving, experimentation and collaboration.
You’ll:
- Build and deliver AI-enabled software solutions from concept through to production
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve software engineering and delivery
- Explore and implement agentic AI workflows and techniques for reliable automation
- Help engineering and product teams adopt AI-enabled development practices
- Develop reusable engineering approaches, examples and best practices
- Ensure solutions align with architectural patterns, coding standards and performance requirements
- Work across engineering, architecture, security, QA and platform teams
- Help teams understand both the capabilities and limitations of AI within software development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience
- 3+ years’ commercial experience in Software Engineering (full-stack)
- Hands on experience with AI driven engineering tools, such as:
-Cursor
-Compound Engineering or similar approaches/tools
- Experience with agentic AI workflows and steering techniques for reliable automation
- Strong OOP skills using Java, Python or C#
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP
- Strong understanding of software engineering standards, architecture and performance
- Must be permanently based in Northern Ireland with the relevant Right to Work
- RAG architectures, embeddings and context management
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Software security best practices and compliance
- Automated testing frameworks and QA processes
AWS certification or equivalent cloud certification
