AI Software Engineer

As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and building AI-native applications that automate and enhance critical Information Security and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes. Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you’ll contribute to the design, development, deployment and continuous improvement of cutting-edge AI solutions powered by modern cloud and AI technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing AI-native applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Building intelligent, agent-based solutions that automate and optimise security and software engineering processes.
• Developing scalable solutions leveraging AWS, Bedrock, LangGraph and LangSmith.
• Contributing to solution design and technical decision-making within an established architecture.
• Collaborating with engineers, security specialists and stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Driving engineering best practices across application development, testing and deployment.
• Supporting the continuous evolution of our AI capabilities through research, experimentation and innovation.
• Contributing to backlog refinement, technical planning and delivery activities.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience developing software applications in Python.
• Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-powered applications.

• Good understanding of:

• Agentic AI frameworks
• Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• AI application design patterns

Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

Strong software engineering fundamentals, including:

• Application architecture and design
• CI/CD pipelines
• Testing and deployment best practices
• Secure software development principles

Ability to contribute to technical design discussions and solution development.

Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with AWS Bedrock, LangGraph and/or LangSmith.
• Frontend development experience.
• Exposure to Information Security or secure software development environments.
• Experience working on AI transformation, automation or productivity-focused initiatives.
• Knowledge of low-level architecture and system design principles.
