Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full technology stack, developing modern React and Next.js applications, Node.js services, APIs and cloud-based AWS solutions. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving systems that enable colleagues across the organisation to deliver their best work while helping shape our engineering standards and technical direction., * Developing and supporting full stack solutions using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js and AWS.

  • Designing and maintaining APIs, backend services and cloud-based integrations.
  • Taking ownership of applications and services within our Corporate Operations portfolio.
  • Supporting and modernising existing and legacy systems.
  • Improving reliability, security, performance and maintainability.
  • Contributing to engineering best practice and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
  • Experience building APIs and working with AWS or similar cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
