Job description
The candidate should be comfortable working with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, VMware, PowerShell, and enterprise infrastructure, along with supporting hybrid environments where on-premises systems integrate with cloud platforms., * Administer and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments across on-premises data centers.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual Windows servers.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows authentication services.
- Perform server patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, application, networking, performance, and connectivity issues.
- Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi virtual machines and support server provisioning and migrations.
- Monitor server health, CPU, memory, disk, network, and application performance.
- Perform root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate server administration and operational tasks.
- Support enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability environments.
- Work with networking, storage, security, database, application, and DevOps teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Participate in production deployments, maintenance activities, and after-hours support when required.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
- Support hybrid infrastructure connecting on-premises systems with AWS/Azure environments.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, availability, and operational standards.
Requirements
are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer with strong hands-on experience supporting Windows Server and on-premises enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience managing, troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, and maintaining Windows environments within corporate data centers., * 5+ years of experience as a Windows Engineer / Windows Systems Administrator.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Strong on-premises data center infrastructure experience.

- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- DNS/DHCP
- PowerShell
- VMware vSphere/ESXi
- Windows Server administration
- Server patching and upgrades
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Experience supporting production enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, firewalls, and server connectivity.
Experience with enterprise monitoring and ticketing tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional infrastructure and application teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS or Azure in hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Failover Clustering.
- Experience with SCCM/MECM or other endpoint/server management tools.
- Experience with enterprise backup technologies.
- Knowledge of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
- Experience with automation using PowerShell, Ansible, or Python.
- Knowledge of Windows security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.
