Job description
We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing data team responsible for designing, developing and optimising enterprise-scale data solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across modern cloud-based data platforms and wants to play a key role in shaping a company’s data strategy. You’ll be responsible for delivering robust data pipelines, improving data quality, supporting business-critical reporting and analytics, and helping drive the adoption of best-in-class data engineering practices. What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Developing and maintaining enterprise data models
- Building and optimising solutions within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric
- Working with Lakehouse architectures
- Developing data solutions using SQL, Python and PySpark
- Supporting Master Data Management (MDM)
- Integrating data from Salesforce and SAP
- Managing source code and version control processes
- Collaborating with stakeholders
- Improving data quality, performance and scalability
Requirements
- Proven Data Engineer experience
- Strong expertise in Data Modelling
- Data Pipeline development experience
- Microsoft Azure data services
- Microsoft Fabric
- Advanced SQL skills
- Python and PySpark
- Lakehouse architectures
- MDM knowledge
- Salesforce and SAP integration
- Git/source code management
- Strong analytical skills
Desirable Experience
- Legal sector experience
- Data governance exposure
- Modern data architecture best practices
