TS Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE)

Insight Global is seeking a TS Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE). This role focuses on tuning and optimizing cybersecurity tools such as ESS, Elastic, ConfigOS, and Tanium to improve system performance and threat detection. The engineer will create custom dashboards to visualize security data for faster identification of issues and trends, integrate security products for seamless data flow across the environment, troubleshoot and resolve tool-related issues, and manage upgrades and deployments to keep systems current with the latest features and security patches.

Generally has 3+ years experience, may have post-secondary or certifications in related field Active Final Top Secret clearance required to start Minimum 3 years of ISSE (Information System Security Engineer) experience IAT Level II / IAM Level I DoD 8570 certification (Sec+ CE or equivalent) Windows/RHEL system admin experience, installing, tuning & troubleshooting cyber tools to include ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, Splunk/Elastic, etc. Hands-on experience with ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) for vulnerability scanning and management Experience with SIEM tools for security monitoring, log aggregation, and threat detection Experience implementing, applying, and remediating STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) Configuring, running, and scripting audit tools - Hands-on experience with Tanium - Experience building custom security dashboards - Background integrating multiple security products in a large enterprise or DoD environment
