Job description

Design and implement database solutions that align with business requirements and technical specifications.
Optimize and tune database performance to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data needs and develop appropriate solutions.
Write, test, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and stored procedures.
Monitor and maintain database systems, performing regular updates and performance checks.
Utilize source control and CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps, to manage database development and deployment.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate new tools into existing systems as needed.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members regarding database-related issues.

Requirements

Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and implementation of best practices. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Proven experience with database technologies, platforms, and architectural design.
Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) with demonstrated expertise in complex query creation and optimization.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or higher), including query execution plans and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Apache Spark, Python, Apache Hadoop, Apache Kafka, and ETL processes. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
