Job description
We’re looking for a hands-on technical professional who is comfortable working across small-business IT, cloud applications, integrations, automation, and application support.
Our team handles client relationships, business analysis, and strategy. You’ll help turn those recommendations into working solutions.
This is not purely a help-desk role. In addition to supporting client technology, you’ll help maintain and troubleshoot Bizzaly’s own client-facing applications and integrations.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, cloud storage, backups, password managers, and other business tools
- Migrate email, files, users, and accounts between systems
- Configure and troubleshoot SaaS applications
- Connect accounting, CRM, scheduling, project-management, and other business systems through APIs and integration tools
- Set up AI tools and build practical automations using platforms such as Zapier or Make
- Troubleshoot integrations, data flows, APIs, and existing web applications
- Help maintain and support Bizzaly-developed client applications
- Work with cloud environments, databases, Git/GitHub repositories, and deployment tools as needed
- Diagnose basic network, server, security, and connectivity issues and identify when specialist support is required
- Document systems, credentials, configurations, and processes clearly
- Explain technology patiently and clearly to non-technical business owners
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on technology experience
- Strong experience supporting small-business or business technology environments
- Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Experience troubleshooting SaaS applications and integrations
- Understanding of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and web applications
- Strong security practices when handling client systems and data
- Ability to independently investigate unfamiliar technology and solve problems
- Excellent communication skills and patience with non-technical clients
- Reliability and clear communication about timelines
- Ability to occasionally visit client offices in the South Bay
Particularly Valuable
You do not need every skill below, but experience in several would be valuable:
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Python and/or JavaScript
- React or other modern web frameworks
- SQL and/or MongoDB
- REST APIs
- Git/GitHub
- Docker and CI/CD
- QuickBooks and accounting-system integrations
- Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar automation platforms
- AI APIs and tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude
- CRM platforms such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce
The Person We’re Looking For
You might currently be a systems engineer, application-support engineer, technical solutions engineer, full-stack developer with strong client skills, or an experienced IT professional who has moved into cloud applications and automation.
We’re less concerned with your title than with your ability to figure things out, implement solutions, and explain what you’ve done in plain English.
About the company
Bizzaly helps small businesses make technology and AI work for them, without the jargon. We work with local businesses to assess their technology, select the right tools, automate routine work, and implement practical AI and software solutions.
Our clients include businesses in construction, real estate, professional services, and other industries across the Bay Area.
