Job description
We are seeking a Configuration Analyst II to support product configuration, change management, and data quality initiatives across global product platforms. This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Parts & Service teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of configuration data throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and audit product structures, configuration rules, and related engineering data.
- Develop and support variant configuration data, model structures, and machine configurations.
- Implement engineering requirements, standards, and product changes within enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues impacting product builds.
- Support engineering change management processes and approval workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and implement product requirements.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify trends, improve decision-making, and ensure data quality.
- Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and configuration best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and data integrity.
- Provide training and guidance on configuration tools, systems, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of product configuration, Bills of Material (BOMs), specifications, and engineering data management processes.
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and workflow tools.
- Understanding of engineering change management processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and global teams.
- Experience collecting and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, PTC Windchill, Creo Parametric, iPPE, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of variant configuration and configuration management.
- Familiarity with cProjects, PPM, and workflow management tools.
- Agricultural or manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience supporting process improvement and global collaboration initiatives., * Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across business functions.
- Passion for improving processes, systems, and product data quality.
