AI Engineer

Robert Half is working with a client in the metro-Atlanta area seeking an AI Engineer.

• Develop LLM-powered and agent-based applications using Claude APIs
• Design and implement MCP-based agents (Model Context Protocol) within AWS environments
• Build prompt workflows, orchestration logic, and autonomous agent behaviors
• Integrate enterprise systems and data sources via APIs
• Optimize AI solutions for token efficiency, cost, and performance
• Develop backend services and utilities to support AI applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to deliver scalable solutions

• Python and JavaScript (Node.js preferred)
• Experience with Claude API and LLM provider integrations
• Hands-on experience building AI/agent-based solutions
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar agent frameworks
• AWS (including Bedrock, Lambda/serverless, containers, networking, security)
• AI development tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code)
• REST APIs and enterprise system integrations
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
