Job description

This is a rare opportunity to join an award-winning Quant Fund founded by Computer Scientists, where technology is the heart of the business. You will be reporting to a distinguished and highly respected Tech Lead in an environment where engineers lead engineers, ensuring zero red tape and a truly collaborative atmosphere. Based in beautiful London offices equipped with full perks (gym, food, etc.), you will join a small, elite team where your contributions have immediate and visible impact. The Role You will be responsible for building next-gen front-end systems that power real-time trading and bringing real-time ML insights to life. This is a high-autonomy role involving greenfield projects and a modern, evolving tech stack. You will work side-by-side with quants to turn complex mathematical models into intuitive, usable interfaces, solving unique challenges at the intersection of high finance and cutting-edge data visualization. Key responsibilities include:

Building next-gen front-end systems powering real-time trading Crafting interactive dashboards and research tools with live insights and streaming data Implementing real-time data streaming and WebSocket-powered interfaces Developing high-performance UIs for large-scale datasets and visualisations Applying modern React patterns and performance optimisations to mission-critical apps Collaborating with quants to industrialise complex models into intuitive interfaces

Requirements

Minimum 1 year+ experience with React, TypeScript, or Next.js Ideally proficient in or exposed to Python Solid Computer Science fundamentals (degree preferred but not essential) A genuine passion for tech (evidenced by side projects, blogs, or meetups) Strong personality and the ability to thrive in a flat, elite team structure An innovative mindset ready to solve unique quant-related technical challenges
