QA Automation Engineer - Java / Selenium

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Selenium to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for enterprise applications., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation tests.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and other QA engineers to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Execute automated and manual test cases as required.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed status reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation standards, and best practices.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience developing and maintaining Selenium automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of TestNG/JUnit.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of API testing, preferably using REST APIs and Postman.
• Good understanding of SQL/database validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cucumber/BDD.
• Experience with REST Assured.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Performance or load testing experience is a plus.
• Banking/financial services experience is a plus.
