Senior Platform Engineer - LondonWe are working in collaboration to source a Senior Platform Engineer. This role is working mostly remote, with the requirement to work in the London office only 1 day per week.You will take on a high-profile role, which will see you design, build and improve platforms. You’ll be making sure that they are secure, scalable and available, collaborating across teams to share and re-utilise good practice and technology stack. reviewsEnsure platforms and operational issues, defects, and maintenance activities are prioritised appropriately and provide highly available and performing solutionsOwn, develop and improve platform engineering tools, processes and ways of workingPioneer new ideas to improve platform delivery lifecycles from design, code, automation to effective operational supportThe skills you’ll needAt least 10 years of hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering, designing and operating secure, scalable and high - performing Azure platformsExperience in a fast-paced engineering environment and contributing to improving overall engineering maturity.Extensive hands-on experience with Azuredesign, build and deployment using CI or CD.Good collaboration and interpersonal skillsreal-time logging and monitoringExtensive hands-on experience designing, building and deploying Microsoft Azure services, including PaaS and AKS, using CI/CDStrong Azure administration expertise, including Landing Zones, CAF principles, Hub & Spoke networking and cloud security best practicesProficiency with IaC and automation tools such as Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, JSON, Azure DevOps or JenkinsSolid understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerisation and API Managementreal-time monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, AppInsights and GrafanaHands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including Azure Entra, Microsoft 365 and Endpoint ManagerKnowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible, along with strong communication and stakeholder skillsExperience with cloud database technologies such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, SQL PaaS services including optimisation, performance tuning and high availabilityStrong networking knowledge across VNet design, firewalls, routing, private endpoints, WAFs and network security groupsUnderstanding of compliance and regulatory standards including PCI DSS, financial services governance, secure-by-design principles, data protection and change control rigorSALARY INCLUDES 10% Benefits-As-Cash #J-18808-Ljbffr
