Senior Software Developer

MicroTech seeks a Senior Software Developer to develop and maintain systems supporting DoD waiver workflows within the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission. This position translates operational requirements into maintainable software and workflow capabilities., * Develop and sustain software supporting DoD waiver submission, review, routing, and disposition.

• Translate user and mission requirements into software designs and implementation tasks.
• Implement workflow logic, validation rules, interfaces, and data handling.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, defect resolution, and release documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, database personnel, administrators, and Government stakeholders on integration and deployment.
• Experience developing systems that manage DoD waiver workflows.
• Ability to translate business rules and approval processes into reliable software behavior.
• Proven experience managing personnel deployments, navigating the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility.

• Active Secret clearance and a valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining on the first day of contract performance
• Assigned DCWF role: 621, Software Developer, Intermediate
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• CSSLP or GSEC certification and minimum 5 years’ experience
• Applicable DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications must be satisfied before independently performing duties requiring privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions
