As part of its central IT & Cybersecurity team, you will work in a CISO-led environment where information security, IT resilience and risk management play a critical role in supporting the organisation’s activities.

IT Security Specialist | The Role

• Take the lead on IT resilience, service continuity and disaster recovery initiatives across the organisation.
• Identify, assess and monitor IT continuity and security risks, translating findings into concrete improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate IT resilience and recovery readiness, including the capabilities and commitments of external technology providers.
• Develop and drive Disaster Recovery testing for applications and data, analyse results and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Partner with technical architects, security experts and project teams to integrate resilience and security requirements into projects and operations.
• Lead awareness, training and communication initiatives while contributing your expertise to security-related decisions within the CISO organisation.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Security, IT Service Continuity, IT Risk Management or a closely related field, with a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT security and governance frameworks such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, NIST, COBIT or ITIL.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, security architecture and controls, including Azure and GCP environments.
• Experience managing or assessing external technology providers and their security and continuity capabilities.
• Strong project leadership, analytical and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to take ownership and drive initiatives forward.
• Fluent in Dutch, with a good understanding of French; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC or BCI are a plus.
