Software Engineer

Job Description An enterprise client is seeking a Software Engineer III to support the development of a real-time data platform responsible for ingesting, processing, and delivering mission-critical data through APIs and cloud-based services. This engineer will help build scalable backend applications, support AI-enabled workflows, and develop event-driven solutions that process large volumes of data in near real time. The ideal candidate will have experience with C#, .NET, Azure, APIs, distributed systems, and AI integrations, along with a strong understanding of cloud-native application development and data processing. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET Build and support APIs and event-driven services Design solutions for ingesting, processing, and distributing large data sets Work with AI-enabled applications, model integrations, and data enrichment workflows Develop applications deployed in Microsoft Azure Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews Support system monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams

3+ years of software engineering experience Strong experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET 8 Experience developing REST APIs and backend services Experience working within Microsoft Azure Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Event Hubs, Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or similar Understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices Experience with AI, machine learning, Generative AI, or LLM-based applications Understanding of model training, token consumption, and AI cost optimization Experience building data ingestion and processing pipelines Experience with Azure services such as AKS, Functions, App Services, and Containers Experience in financial services, fraud prevention, compliance, sanctions screening, or other regulated industries Experience with Redis, Azure API Management, or Infrastructure as Code tools

$60/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
