Join a high-impact technology team as a Software Developer 3, delivering enterprise web applications and robust business solutions for the Texas Department of Transportation. Work with diverse technologies and collaborate closely with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement mission-critical systems that drive statewide initiatives., Architect, design, and develop scalable web applications and APIs using Java, Python, and JavaScript

• Build and maintain .NET or J2EE components (Servlets, JSP, JDBC) for robust, secure solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and solve key business challenges
• Create and optimize Oracle PL/SQL scripts for efficient data management and integration
• Implement Agile methodologies to ensure rapid, quality-driven software delivery
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly with peers and management at all levels
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement

8+ years’ experience with SDLC processes in IT environments

• Proficient in Java, Python, JavaScript for web services, APIs, and custom web development
• Demonstrated architectural and design solution expertise
• Hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience
• Strong background in .NET or J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC) component development
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders to deliver results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years configuring, supporting, and maintaining Inspection and Materials Management Systems
• Experience with Graph API development
• .NET, ASP .NET, Windows application, and advanced database technologies
• Object-oriented programming proficiency, Adobe InDesign Materials Management Microsoft Windows Software Engineering Web Services
