Sr Database Administrator

• Perform tasks in the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, and code review.
• Provide development and reporting support for manufacturing-focused organizations.
• Build and maintain interfaces between manufacturing-specific systems and other applications.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in database administration and development to join our team for a 6-month contract. This position requires a US Citizen due to secret clearance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work under pressure to address performance challenges in real time., * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

• 5 years of software design and development experience.
• Proficiency in MS SQL, Oracle, and DB2.
• Experience with database tuning, SSMS, SSRS, Power BI, and Powershell.
• Experience with SDLC, ITIL, and data protection/business continuity.
• Advanced SQL development and data architecture/governance skills.
• Prior work experience in the client’s industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience with C#, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Python.
• Experience supporting VB, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and similar legacy technologies.
