Systems Administrator II

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll be part of a collaborative IT team responsible for the technical design, performance, and execution of our mission-critical enterprise systems. You won’t just “keep the lights on”-you’ll directly impact how we serve our members by optimizing technology, strengthening our infrastructure, and driving innovative solutions., * Administer and troubleshoot on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Nutanix, Microsoft 365, and Azure.

• Plan and support Azure migrations, from readiness assessments and dependency mapping through testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Manage Azure virtual machines, networking, storage, access controls, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and resource consumption.
• Automate routine infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and repeatable deployment processes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, source control, release coordination, and environment standardization.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization, technology integration, and merger and acquisition projects.
• Collaborate across teams to define technical requirements, coordinate implementations, and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Maintain clear documentation and provide responsive technical support while meeting security, compliance, performance, and business continuity requirements.

• Five or more years of related experience in infrastructure, systems administration, cloud administration, DevOps support, automation, or technology projects.
• Education equivalent to a two-year degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
• Intermediate proficiency administering Azure infrastructure, identities, networking, storage, backup, monitoring, and resource costs.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, group policy, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, virtualization, and hybrid identity.
• Experience with scripting and automation, along with an understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and change control.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• The ability to explain technical information clearly, collaborate across departments, and provide excellent service to internal teams and end users.
