SAP Migration Specialist

The role will focus on data preparation, cleansing, conversion, loading and reconciliation from a non- SAP system to SAP ECC6 through iterative migration cycles, ensuring business readiness for deployment and supporting a successful go-live., * Produce and maintain key documentation including data migration plans, mapping specifications and runbooks

• Support business teams with data cleansing of non-SAP data
• Prepare templates for master and transactional data

Data extraction and transformation

• Maintain source to target mapping documentation and transformation rules
• Support data transformation activities

Data migration

• Develop migration test scripts i.e. using LSMW
• Execute migration test loads and troubleshoot failures and defects
• Execute dress rehearsals and perform reconciliations to ensure data quality

Cut-over and Go-live support

• Contribute to cut over and go-live planning
• Support production data migration activities
• Provide post go-live support hypercare

Essential

• Hands on experience of performing data migrations from non-SAP systems to SAP ECC6
• Experience of developing data migration load programs (e.g. LSMW)
• Strong understanding of SAP data objects
• Experience of data conversion, mapping and transformation
• Experience of resolving data load defects and failures
• Ability to work collaboratively with functional consultants and business stakeholders
• Strong problem solving and organisational skills
• The role requires candidates to hold UK SC security clearance
