SAP Data Migration Specialist

• Prepare and cleanse data
• Produce and maintain data migration plans, mapping specifications, and runbooks
• Support business teams with cleansing non-SAP data
• Prepare templates for master and transactional data
• Extract and transform data
• Develop migration test scripts, including using LSMW
• Execute migration test loads and troubleshoot failures and defects
• Conduct dress rehearsals and reconciliations to ensure data quality
• Contribute to cutover and go-live planning
• Support production data migration activities
• Provide post-go-live hypercare support

• Security, We are recruiting for an SAP Data Migration Specialist based in Newport for an initial six-month contract, with onsite work required three days a week. The role supports the migration of a recent UK acquisition to a leading defence businesss SAP ECC6 system, helping ensure business readiness and a successful go-live. • Hands-on experience performing data migrations from non-SAP systems to SAP ECC6
• Experience developing data migration load programs, such as LSMW
• Strong understanding of SAP data objects
• Experience with data conversion, mapping, and transformation
• Experience resolving data load defects and failures
• Ability to collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance and meet standard UK nationality and residency requirements for site access
