Job description

6-month contract with the intention of converting to a full-time employee.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship available.
This is a hands-on position focused on both building cloud infrastructure and supporting the applications running within the environment.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting cloud infrastructure within AWS.
Experience building cloud platforms and infrastructure from the ground up, rather than solely maintaining existing environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
Experience setting up and managing infrastructure that supports scalable, production-grade applications.
Strong understanding of application support, including troubleshooting issues across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code, automation, and CI/CD processes.
Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, observability, incident management, and production support.
Experience working across both infrastructure and application environments.
Full-stack development experience working across Python, Node.js, and React, with the ability to understand and support applications running within cloud environments.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and determine whether problems originate within the application, infrastructure, containers, or broader cloud environment., * Experience building and supporting Kubernetes environments within AWS, including Amazon EKS.
Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies.
Background spanning Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or full-stack application engineering.
