Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Sr Digital Applications Developer . The Sr Digital Applications Developer will evaluate, develop, modify, code, and test software programs (with a focus on CAD) to support internal Daikin Applied programming needs as well as provide support to applications users throughout Daikin Applied. Under limited supervision you will analyze, test, and debug applications as well as document, evaluate and make modifications to existing programs or formulate logic for new programs. • Responsible for creating and maintaining multiple CAD applications

• Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, and perform coding

• References and understands application and system documentation to support design, testing or programming efforts without assistance from more experienced IT specialists

• Documents and reviews programs, including installation and maintenance

• Develops multiple areas of expertise in installation, design, configuration or specialized testing

• Applies knowledge of the users’ operations, integration into IT standards and processes, and specialized training in the applications’ use

• Provides and acts on feedback for possible improvements

• Works as a member of a larger team of individuals with more advanced skills

• Assists with the support of less experienced team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

• 4 years of experience in software development

• 2 years of experience in CAD software development

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years’ experience in application and software development

• 4+ years of experience in CAD software development

• Experience with Helix Toolkit

The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $90,00 to $153,000 (+ 10% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
