Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a premier law firm client. The sr. engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing the firm’s cloud and on-premises infrastructure while supporting strategic initiatives across cloud modernization, automation, and artificial intelligence. The sr. engineer will work to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available technology solutions that support firm-wide operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include the following: * Design, develop, implement, and support cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions. * Build, configure, and maintain enterprise cloud environments, applications, and AI-related systems. * Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools. * Support operational technology strategies, governance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Assist with backup, disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation efforts. * Monitor system performance, analyze infrastructure metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization and security improvements. * Collaborate with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and infrastructure issues. * Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule supporting production systems, deployments, and Tier 3 escalations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of cloud infrastructure engineer experience supporting business-critical IT infrastructure within an enterprise organization * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (networking, VDI, DNS) and Microsoft Entra ID (SSO, enterprise applications, conditional access) * Expertise with Kubernetes, Podman, and Docker * Experience with infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python and Microsoft Purview or Litera CAM for data governance * Strong knowledge of cloud applications, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, MCP servers, and enterprise infrastructure management * Exposure to deploying and operating AI technologies (Claude, Copilot, etc.) * Microsoft, cloud, and networking certifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Benefits & conditions
This is a full-time position that can sit fully remote in one of the following states - MA, ME, NH, CT, NJ, NY, FL, IL, VA. Working EST hours (9am-5pm EST).
Compensation - $175k-$215k base salary Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, and education.
