Job description

We are expanding our team and are looking for SAP Inhouse Consultants for various modules!

As an SAP Inhouse Consultant, you support our internal customers in generating new business requirements as part of the development process - from concept to implementation within the respective module. In doing so, you act as the bridge between the business departments and IT and take on end-to-end functional responsibility for projects.

Your module focus will be on one (or more) of the following modules:

SD with focus in Logistics

YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

Process Analysis & IT Solutions: Identify and analyze process requirements and the associated IT solutions within your module focus (including cross-module topics).

Requirements Engineering & Customization: Work closely with business departments on requirements and process analysis, as well as the technical implementation of change requests and customization.

Feasibility & Methodology: Gather and analyze requirements using structured, methodological approaches and assess technical feasibility.

SAP Core Module Development: Support and continuously develop your SAP core module and its interfaces to connected modules and systems.

Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business units and external service providers.

Process Testing & Documentation: Conduct and document process tests.

User Training & Support: Deliver internal training sessions and act as the first point of contact for users and key users.

Release & Change Management: Support release management, including transport and change management.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project management?, You have a degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management, or a comparable qualification

Alternatively, completed vocational training in a related field

Several years of professional experience as a consultant, inhouse consultant, or process/project manager in one of the listed modules (SD with focus in Logistics, SD with focus in Carrier Management and Dangerous Goods, TSM (Technical Service), MM and PP (Materials Management, Production Planning))

Strong knowledge (including customization) in at least one SAP module and in process analysis

Excellent project management skills

Affinity for new technologies and a strong service-oriented mindset

High process affinity and strong analytical skills

Excellent communication skills, with a structured and solution-oriented way of working

Very good English skills, German skills are a nice to have
