Job description

Are you an experienced Security Project Manager looking for your next opportunity?, * Project Delivery: Lead the full lifecycle of security projects within data centre environments, from initial scoping and design through to commissioning, handover, and close-out.

  • Programme Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, risk registers, and change control processes to ensure consistent, on-time delivery.
  • Stakeholder & Subcontractor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors, maintaining clear communication and strong working relationships throughout project delivery.
  • Technical Oversight & Reporting: Produce and review project documentation including method statements, risk assessments, handover packs, and progress reports for client and internal stakeholders.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including BS EN 50132, NSI/SSAIB requirements, and applicable Health & Safety legislation.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Security Project Manager within the physical security industry.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on project management experience with enterprise-grade security systems, including access control platforms (e.g. Lenel, CCure, Genetec) and CCTV/surveillance infrastructure.
  • Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record delivering security projects within data centre, critical infrastructure, or large-scale commercial environments.
  • Soft Skills: Strong client relationship management, excellent written and verbal communication, and confident stakeholder engagement at senior level.
  • Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.

Desirable:

  • Certifications: PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification; NSI Gold or SSAIB accreditation awareness; CSCS/ECS card.
  • Sector Background: Prior experience delivering security programmes within hyperscale data centres, co-location facilities, or mission-critical environments.
