Job description
Are you an experienced Embedded Security Project Manager looking for your next opportunity?, * Project Delivery: Manage end-to-end delivery of embedded security projects, from initial scope and design through to commissioning and client handover.
- Programme Management: Maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure all works are completed to specification and within agreed timescales.
- Stakeholder & Team Management: Coordinate directly with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and internal engineering resources to ensure seamless project execution.
- Technical Oversight & Reporting: Produce and maintain project documentation including risk registers, RAMS, O&M manuals, and handover packs, providing regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including BS EN 50132, BS 7858, and applicable Health & Safety legislation.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager within the physical security or embedded security industry.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on project management experience with integrated security systems, including access control platforms (e.g. Lenel, CCure, Genetec), CCTV, and intruder detection systems.
- Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of delivering multi-site or complex embedded security projects within commercial, critical infrastructure, or enterprise environments.
- Soft Skills: Strong client relationship management, clear communication across all levels, and confident problem-solving under pressure.
- Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.
Desirable:
- Certifications: PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent project management qualification; CSCS/ECS card; SIA-related training or awareness.
- Sector Background: Prior experience on high-security, government, or critical national infrastructure contracts.
