IT Support Specialist (Interim / Immediate Start)

We’re currently looking for an in-office Interim IT Support Specialist to join us for 2 - 3 months starting asap (1st July - end August/September), to help us with our imminent office move.

You’ll be our go-to person for day-to-day IT support during the office move; helping colleagues with hardware and software issues, set up devices, troubleshoot technical problems, and contribute to making technology work smoothly across the company from Day 1 of being in the new office.

What you’ll be helping us out with:

• Audit, label and track all IT equipment before the move
• Coordinate internet installation, networking, WiFi and cabling at the new office
• Work with vendors, contractors and building management on all IT-related requirements
• Plan and set up desks, monitors, docking stations and shared equipment
• Configure and test meeting room technology, displays and video conferencing systems
• Manage the safe disconnection, transportation and reconnection of IT equipment
• Provide hands-on support to employees during and immediately after the move
• Verify that internet, WiFi, printers, meeting rooms and access systems are fully operational on Day 1
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimise network coverage and office technology after the move
• Update asset inventories, documentation and security controls for the new office environment

What you’ll bring to the team:

• You’ve worked with Windows, macOS, or Linux before
• You’ve used (or are keen to learn) tools like Kandji for managing devices
• You enjoy helping people and communicating with colleagues from all backgrounds
• You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved in hands-on IT tasks
• You’re curious about automation, scripting, and finding smarter ways of working
• Bonus points if you’ve ever set up your own network, home lab, or WiFi system
