BI & Insight Analyst / Data Analyst

• Extracting, validating, cleansing and analysing data from multiple sources.
• Supporting data migration from the existing warehouse into the new Data Lake.
• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Producing accurate performance reports and management information.
• Gathering stakeholder requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
• Developing data models and visualisations that support informed decisions.
• Improving data quality processes and checking the accuracy of reporting outputs.
• Explaining findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Handling sensitive information securely and maintaining confidentiality.

Previous experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, Insight Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar. Strong Power BI dashboard and reporting development skills. SQL experience and confident Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working with large, complex datasets. Strong data quality, validation and analytical skills. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication. Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. A proactive approach to solving problems and improving reporting., Microsoft Fabric. Data migration projects and ETL processes. Data Lake or Data Warehouse environments. Working with HR data. Local government or wider public sector experience.
