SQL Developer

Our client, a rapidly growing global cybersecurity company, is seeking a SQL Developer to support and optimize high-volume production databases powering mission-critical business systems. This is not a traditional DBA, reporting, or data warehousing role. You’ll work hands-on with SQL in live production environments, troubleshoot data and performance issues, and collaborate directly with developers and internal stakeholders. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Write, modify, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Support high-volume production databases and mission-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot database performance, data inconsistencies, and application-related SQL issues.
• Analyze execution plans and implement indexing strategies to improve performance.
• Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and internal teams on application functionality and data needs.
• Support ETL processes, data migrations, and system integrations.
• Monitor database performance, growth, availability, and overall health.
• Help maintain reliable, high-quality database systems for end users.

• 3-10+ years of SQL Server experience.
• Strong T-SQL development skills.
• Experience writing and optimizing stored procedures, views, functions, and complex queries.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting live production database issues.
• Strong understanding of execution plans, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience supporting business applications or CRM systems.
• Git, Jira, and Agile development experience preferred.
• SSIS, ETL, and data migration experience is a plus.

• $75,000-$125,000 base salary, negotiable based on experience.
