Integrate data from multiple sources to create a common operating picture.
-
Select and implement statistical analyses and scoring metrics to evaluate algorithm performance.
-
Create training and test datasets from multiple data sources.
-
Perform data cleansing, validation, and other Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) activities.
-
Develop analytic reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
-
Implement data visualization for analysis, presentations, and end-user interfaces.
-
Perform feature engineering, classifier optimization, event forecasting, and anomaly detection.
-
Interface with external stakeholders to decompose data science mission requirements.
-
Develop documentation covering data science processes, approaches, and results.
-
Research, select, and implement machine learning algorithms to enhance or compete with existing algorithms.
-
Contribute to the research, development, and sustainment of mission-focused software applications, backend services, APIs, data processing workflows, and analytical capabilities.
-
Refine custom applications, troubleshoot defects, improve performance, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation.
