Senior Network Engineer - Data Center (Hybrid - Frisco, TX)

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a global high tech company. In this role, you will lead enterprise infrastructure deliverables from initiation through closure, coordinating cross functional teams across networking, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations. You will be responsible for planning and delivering large scale compute and storage deployments, migrations, and refresh initiatives, ensuring mission critical business applications are supported with secure, reliable, and high performance infrastructure. This is a 12 month (extensions likely), 40 hour/week, hybrid role at the client’s data center in Frisco, TX. This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise infrastructure deliverables from initiation through closure.
• Coordinate cross functional teams across networking, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver large scale data center compute and storage deployments, migrations, and refresh initiatives.
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced networking components (QoS, VLANs, ACLs) using tools such as NetFlow, SolarWinds, and application response monitoring.
• Administer and optimize enterprise data center compute, storage, and infrastructure platforms supporting mission critical applications.
• Implement and support Leaf & Spine architecture in large scale data center environments.
• Manage IPv4/IPv6 addressing, traffic management, DNS/DHCP, NTP, and security monitoring tools.
• Operate and troubleshoot SDN, SD WAN products and services, structured cabling systems, and network facilities.
• Work with Aruba, 3Com, H3C, Arista, and Juniper switches, as well as Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point firewalls.

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, networking, or data center engineering roles.
• Proven experience leading large scale compute and storage deployments, migrations, and refresh initiatives.
• Strong understanding of server, virtualization, storage, and networking technologies and their interdependencies.
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, F5 LTM/GTM, SSH, VPNs, RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS.
• Hands on experience configuring/troubleshooting QoS, VLANs, ACLs with monitoring tools.
• Expertise in IPv4/IPv6, SDN, SD WAN, structured cabling systems, and network facilities.
• Strong experience with Juniper and Arista hardware switches and enterprise data center network environments.
