Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Springfield

Join a high-performing technology team where your expertise in Microsoft, virtualization, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure will directly shape scalable solutions for a diverse client environment., We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support complex IT infrastructure environments. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on Microsoft technologies, virtualization, cloud, networking, and enterprise infrastructure projects., * Design and implement Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, networking, Azure, and Microsoft 365 solutions.

• Lead infrastructure projects including server migrations, cloud transitions, network upgrades, and data center initiatives.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex infrastructure issues.
• Partner with clients and internal teams on technical solutions, project delivery, and infrastructure roadmaps.
• Develop technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.

• 10+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Microsoft experience including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Nutanix, VMware, and/or Hyper-V.
• Strong knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, SAN/NAS, and storage.
• Experience with Azure, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, and Exchange Online.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
• MSP, VAR, or enterprise infrastructure experience .
• Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix, or networking certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree .
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and pass a background check.
