Design Engineer

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join a growing industrial automation team in Beloit, WI. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys designing custom equipment, solving mechanical challenges, and seeing projects move from concept through manufacturing and installation. What You’ll Do Design custom machinery, automation equipment, and mechanical systems Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings Develop mechanical layouts and equipment designs based on project requirements Select mechanical components and help develop bills of materials Work closely with engineering, controls, manufacturing, and project teams Review designs for functionality, manufacturability, and accuracy Support equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and installation Make design updates and improvements throughout the project Communicate with customers and vendors when needed

Mechanical design or engineering experience Experience with custom machinery, automation equipment, material handling, robotics, or industrial equipment Proficiency with 3D CAD/design software Ability to create detailed mechanical drawings and assemblies Understanding of mechanical components, fabrication, and manufacturing processes Strong problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field preferred
