Solutions Engineer

• Write data import and migration scripts for client onboarding, from tickets to turnover data
• Design and optimise integration flows between Chainels and third-party platforms
• Improve and maintain live integrations
• Act as second-line support on integration issues
• Join client and vendor calls to scope integrations, gathering and documenting requirements together with the Product Owner
• Work as part of an integrations team of 5 within the engineering department

• 3+ years experience with automations and integrations
• Experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n strongly preferred)
• Strong technical expertise in APIs, data mapping and scripting
• A pragmatic builder’s mindset, comfortable working directly with client data
• A clear communicator who enjoys talking to clients and vendors, not just to their APIs
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent IT-related field
• Familiarity with Agile development workflows
• Bonus: hands-on experience with Claude Code or other LLM-based tooling

Someone who can connect a client’s ERP to Chainels in the morning, migrate a shopping centre’s turnover history over lunch, and ship a Claude-powered agent before the sprint ends. Your flows run live for landlords and cities across Europe, so everything you build gets used. In this role you’ll be central to creating seamless, intelligent automations by integrating Chainels with a wide range of third-party solutions: ERP, CRM, smart building technologies (such as digital locks and energy meters) and AI agents. You’ll work hand in hand with our Product Owner, Integrations Marketplace, from scoping to go-live. Our tech stack includes n8n Enterprise and Claude Code, among others. You’ll be based at our Rotterdam HQ.
