Fullstack Developer (Java 21/Flutter/React)

Insight Global is looking for a full stack developer with senior/lead level experience with Java (version 21), Flutter and React. This role will be 70% backend Java development and 30% front end using Flutter and React. This role will be supporting the software development team for a large retail company’s distribution and fulfillment centers. This team is responsible for adding automation capacities into the fulfillment process through Goods to Person (G2P) robotics automation. They recently had a very successful piolet of Goods to Person within a single distribution and fulfillment center, and will now be rolling out this capability to the remaining facilities nation-wide.

Day to day: * 70% backend development using Java 21 * 30% front end Flutter and React * Working as a Lead developer and driving software development forward as well as delegating work out to other developers supporting the project * Leveraging Claude for entire SDLC lifecycle * Using spec-driven development

• 7+ years of Java development experience and recent use of version 21 * 5+ years of front end development experience using Flutter and React * Experience with spec driven development and current use of AI technologies such as Claude for development within their professional role * Experience with data structures and algorithms * Lead or Staff level experience and the ability to take initiative, lead projects forward, delegate and assign work to developers as needed * Supply chain, distribution center industry experience * Experience with WMS, WCS, WES and other distribution and fulfillment center technologies * Goods to person robotics solution experience

Location: 100% remote US working EST hours (preference to candidates local to Atlanta) Pay rate: 52-55/hr.
