Technical Support Specialist

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Technical Support Specialist. The Technical Support Specialist delivers high-touch, client-focused technology support to attorneys, professionals, staff, and visitors in the New York office. The role supports day-to-day technology operations, resolves incidents and service requests, assists with meetings and audiovisual needs, and coordinates with firmwide IT teams and local Office Management. The position reports to the IT Client Service Manager and Regional Technical Support Lead, with local direction and coordination from local Office Management.

Five or more years of end-user technology support experience in a professional services or similarly high-touch environment. * Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, laptops, mobile devices, remote-access technologies, and common office peripherals. * Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues, manage competing priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision. * Ability to build effective working relationships with TSS colleagues, firmwide IT teams, and local Office Management. * Professional presence and a consistent commitment to discretion, responsiveness, and service excellence. * Ability to work effectively within a matrixed or dual-reporting environment and provide after-hours emergency support when needed. * Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
